Large Dulcimer Ensembles
(along with kindred instruments)
are invited
to perform
on the
Grand Ole Opry Stage
Nashville, Tennessee
April 26th & 27th, 2022

This is not a "jam," or a competition.

It is a new kind of music performance event designed to bring us together, face-to-face, to share our music skills and be inspired

by the skills of other groups.

We are looking for large ensembles (30-40 participants) who now play, or are willing to learn to play, multi-part music scores for this event.

Each of the first 8 ensembles to apply will be given the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in front of an audience of their peers for a 15 minute set. (That could be 4 or 5 pieces of music per ensemble depending on the length of the pieces selected.)

Because this event will not be recorded, music selected for your performance can be copyrighted material, as long as all members of your ensemble possess a legitimate copy of the score.

Individual players or smaller groups who want to participate

can request a spot in a larger ensemble created by:

Contact them directly if interested.

Arrangements for this event include 2 nights at the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort, 5 meals, access to vendors, practice areas, rehearsal and performance time on the Opry stage, an open-mic event, an evening jam, and much more.
